Meet your 2022-2023 Executive Board

President-Kristin Morgan

Hi, I’m Kristin Morgan and I am mom to two busy boys, Nathan (6th grader) and Xander (1st grader). My husband, Ryan, is an attorney and we’ve been married for 14 years. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for both of my boys’ schools since my oldest started preschool. I’ve served as room parent multiple times in both preschool and elementary school and I’ve served on several committees, including events, staff appreciation, spirit store and Audubon Cares. I served as VP of Events for APS and most recently as VP of Communications for two years. I have really enjoyed being so involved with the school in its inaugural years and look forward to serving as president!

SecretaryWendy Coomes

My name is Wendy Coomes. I have 2 sons, one in 6th grade at APS and one in 10th grade at WPHS. I am a Physical Therapist in the field of outpatient orthopedics. I work part time, which is a blessing, because it allows me to be involved in school activities as well as keep up to date with my career.  My husband and I have lived in Winter Park since we got married in 2000, so we were so thrilled to be a part of the inaugural year at APS in 2018. In the past, I participated in the Audubon Serves and teacher appreciation committees. I was the treasurer for APS PTSA for 2 years, and secretary for 1 year. I am thankful to be able to serve one more year as secretary as Evan enters 7th grade.

Treasurer- Mandy Chandler

Mandy Chandler serves as the Treasurer for Audubon Park PTSA. Mandy and her husband, Carson, have a son Steven, who is currently in 4th grade, and a daughter, Ansley, who is in 2nd grade. This is her second year serving on the APS PTSA Board. Mandy also serves as the finance  officer for Align Public Strategies, a local public affairs firm.  In her spare time, Mandy plays tennis and she and her family enjoy spending time together.

Vice President, Communications- Carrie Griffiths

My name is Carrie Griffiths. I am the proud bonus mom to McKenna (14), rising 9th grader at Winter Park High School and Keegan (9) 3rd grader at Audubon Park School. My husband Ryan and I look forward to our youngest daughter Willa (just under 2) attending APS in just a few years! Our family has enjoyed being an active part of the APS community for the last 3 years and I’m very excited to serve as VP of Communications for the ‘22/‘23 school year. After over a decade in management within the financial lending space, I’ve shifted focus to working with my husband at our production company, Sushi Grade Media and managing our busy modern family. We love serving our community and helping non-profit organizations like Young Life, The Jordan Thomas Foundation and of course The Falcon Fund. I’m happy to be a part of this awesome team and further serve the APS family!

Jamie is a true Florida native and was born right here in Winter Park. She and her Husband both work in Healthcare and have two children; a 4 year old son and 5 year old daughter, who is a rising 1 st grade Falcon. Her passion is community involvement and volunteering. She has over 15 years of experience in event planning and fundraising with several local non-profits such as, New Hope for Kids, Crossroads Corral, The Orlando Union Rescue Mission & the City of Orlando.
