What is the PTSA and Why Should You Join (or Renew)?

Benefit your child. Stay Connected. Tap into a Network. Be a Role Model. Witness Improvement.

Your PTSA Membership helps fund activities and services for our children beyond the School Board’s funding. Below are just a few ways that APS PTSA assists our school.

Please note, in order to have voting rights at any of our General PTSA meetings, you must be a current, active PTSA member. Membership renewals are required at the beginning of every school year to be considered a current, active PTSA member.

All APS PTSA Members will receive an exclusive monthly E-Newsletter.  It's filled with all the things you need to know about upcoming events, links for important information, and much more.

The APS PTSA committees connect as needed throughout the year based on the group focus. Committees are open to APS PTSA members who want to volunteer in a specific area throughout the year, as schedules permit.

PTSA Executive Board

Nominated positions for APS PTSA.

The APS PTSA Executive Board meets monthly to discuss and plan upcoming events and initiatives for the school and the community.

Positions become available annually as members decide to move on; at which point an announcement will go out and then interest forms may be submitted. Once all submissions are received, the board will review and if a majority approves, applicants will be notified before the end of the school year.
