Meet your 2021-2022 Executive Board
President- Terri Guitton
Hi, my name is Terri Guitton and this is my second year serving on the PTSA Board in the role of President. I served the two previous years as the Parent Liaison Coordinator and assisted with the Teacher Appreciation committee as well as 5th grade party Chair in 2019. Prior to serving on the board at APS, I served many roles on the PTA at Audubon Park Elementary School. My experience includes serving as Room Parent multiple years, Grade Level Representative, co-chair for the Holiday Shoppe, co-chair for Social Shindig two years, 5th grade party committee, Spring Fling committee, and Teacher Appreciation committee volunteer. I also served on the Board at Winter Park Presbyterian Preschool and chaired the board one year. As you can see from my experience, I love to give my time to volunteer at my children’s school, as my children are my biggest blessings. I am the proud mother to 3 amazing kids, Tristan who will be in 9th grade, Esmé in 7th grade and Amélie in 6th grade. I am a Licensed School Psychologist and work part time evaluating children and adults in a private practice. I am also an Independent Consultant for Arbonne, a health and wellness company. I am involved with a non profit organization called the Faine House that serves youth aging out of the Foster Care system. If you attended last year’s Falcons Around the World event, my family represented the country of France. My husband, Frédéric, was born and raised there before moving to the US after we met at a study abroad program in England back in college.
Treasurer- Abigail Roofner
Hi, my name is Abigail Roofner and this year all three of my boys will be attending APS. Warner (9) will be in 4th grade, Adler (7) will be in 2nd grade and Schaefer (6) will be in 1st grade. I personally attended Audubon Park Elementary school for my 5th grade year WAY back in the 80s. Prior to Schaefer’s birth, I was a CPA and Tax Manager with KPMG. I have previously served as the Chair of the Board at The Methodist School for Early Education in Winter Park where my sons have all attended preschool. During the 20/21 school year I served as Secretary on the Executive Board of the APS PTSA. I am also entering my 4th year as Treasurer of the Hannah Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park. I am very much looking forward to continuing to be involved at APS and assuming my roll as Treasurer for the 21/22 school year.
Secretary- Wendy Coomes
My name is Wendy Coomes. I have 2 boys, one in 5th grade at APS and one in 9th grade at WPHS. I am a Physical Therapist in the field of outpatient orthopedics. I work part time, which is a blessing, because it allows me to be involved in school activities as well as keep up to date with my career. My husband and I have lived in Winter Park since we got married in 2000, so we were so thrilled to be a part of the inaugural year at APS in 2018. In the past, I participated in the Audubon Serves and teacher appreciation committees. I was the treasurer for APS PTSA for the last 2 years, and I am excited to transition to the role of secretary this year.
Vice President, Communications- Kristin Morgan
Hi, I’m Kristin Morgan and I am mom to two busy boys, Nathan (a rising 5th grader) and Xander (a rising kindergartener). My husband, Ryan, is an attorney and we’ve been married for almost 13 years. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for both of my boys’ schools since my oldest started preschool. I’ve served as room parent multiple times in both preschool and elementary school and I’ve served on several committees, including events, staff appreciation, spirit store and Audubon Cares. I served as VP of Events for APS and this is my second year in the role of VP of Communications. I have really enjoyed being so involved with the school in its inaugural years. Before kids, I worked in the marketing field and truly enjoyed the creative process of developing various forms of communication!
Vice President, Events- Devin Qureshi
My name is Devin Qureshi. I am the proud mom to three busy kids that all attend Audubon Park School (Kadyn -11, Noah - 10, and Jackson -8). We love it here at APS, and I have enjoyed volunteering as room parent and grade level representative over these past two years. Prior to having children I was a second, third, and fourth grade teacher and also served as a reading coach in Tampa for a total of 8 years. My husband and I are both from South Florida, met in college and now live in Winter Park. I have served as the Events Chair at Baldwin Park Elementary and am excited to be a part of this amazing team!
Vice President, Fundraising- Mickey Barkett
Hi! My name is Mickey Barkett and I am the mother of Morgan (8th) and Cole (6th) who have both attended APS since its inception. I served as Secretary on the APS PTSA for two years, and was on the Board for their prior school for 4 years as legal counsel. I am an eminent domain attorney and practice with my husband, David, who is a real estate attorney. I served on the City’s Municipal Planning Board for six years and multiple Orange County boards. I am passionate about community and school involvement and I am honored to participate in our PTSA!
